Intergovernmental Agreement on the Automatic Mutual Recognition of Occupational Registration

The Intergovernmental Agreement on the Automatic Mutual Recognition of Occupational Registration was signed by all jurisdictions, with the exception of the ACT, at the National Cabinet meeting on 11 December 2020.

The agreement is to establish a widespread uniform scheme for automatic mutual recognition (AMR) for the purpose of streamlining occupational registration processes where individuals seek to work in a second or subsequent jurisdiction.
